Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective 01/01/26
This policy explains which cookies MarinersLobby (marinerslobby.com) stores in your browser, why, and for how long. How your personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Notice.
1. What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. On later requests the site reads it, for example to know that you are signed in.
2. Cookies We Use
All of them are first-party cookies: they are written and read only by marinerslobby.com and are not shared with any other site.
Strictly necessary cookies. Without these you cannot sign in and your account cannot be protected.
- ml_at: Shows that you are signed in. Valid for 15 minutes; when it expires it is renewed automatically with ml_rt. Scripts on the page cannot read this cookie.
- ml_rt: Used to renew your session; sent only to the session renewal address. Valid for 30 days and deleted when you sign out. Scripts on the page cannot read this cookie.
- ml_csrf: A security cookie that stops other sites from acting on your behalf. Valid for 30 days.
- ml_reg: Recognises the browser where registration started; email verification can only be completed from that browser. Valid for at most 24 hours and deleted once verification is complete.
Preference cookies. They only remember a choice and are not linked to your identity.
- NEXT_LOCALE: Remembers which language the site opens in. Written according to the language you open on your first visit and updated when you switch language. Valid for 1 year.
- ml-theme: Remembers your light or dark theme preference; written only when you press the theme button. Valid for 1 year.
3. Cookies of the Security Infrastructure
The site is served through a third-party infrastructure service that protects it against malicious traffic. To tell suspicious traffic apart, this service may set its own security cookies in your browser. These cookies are used only for security and have no advertising or tracking purpose.
4. What We Do Not Use
We do not use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), advertising networks, social media plugins, externally loaded fonts or tracking pixels. The fonts and files on our pages come from the site's own server.
5. Managing Cookies
You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies you cannot sign in; if you delete the preference cookies, language and theme return to their defaults.
6. Legal Basis
All cookies on this page are needed to provide the service you ask for (signing in, account security, the language and theme you chose), so they do not rely on your explicit consent. Details on how your personal data is processed are in the Privacy Notice.
7. Changes and Contact
If a new cookie is added, this policy is updated and its version number changes. You can send your questions to [email protected].
